Plan your writing

NOTES TO WRITE

When you write a note, letter, speech, and other methods of communication you need make a plan where you use a technique like a brainstorming, then to rewrite your idea about the topic selected. In this section will be offering you some tips about how to make your writing plan:

Make a plan:
Think about these questions: who am I writing to? Why am I writing? and what does the reader know? These questions helps you to choose the right language, and at the same time be polite. It is important to be clear the purpose so that you can make it clear for your readers. And remember, too much information can be confusing. For example: if you are going to write about technology, you have to know the age and knowledge of the people are going to read your writing. If you do not take or investigate this aspects, the person cannot understand.

Write Notes:
Decide about the information you need to include. Do not worry about the mistakes, write short clear sentences and use a dictionary to find important words.

Write a Final Version:
You can change the order of points, add more information, check the sentences are clear and correct, use a grammar references and use a dictionary.

Check for mistakes and politeness:
Always check your writing before you send it. You can check: if you include all the important information, is the message is clear and easy to read and understand, if you do not have grammar or spelling mistakes, the style is right and it is polite.

Positive:
  • You can order your ideas to create a understandable reading
  • You can check the sentences
  • You can include all the important information
  • Help you to choose a right language, and others


Negative:
  • Spend much time planning


It is very useful but only if you have all the time to plan what are you going write, because you can check if the grammar, polite, style, words, all the things that you write is in the correct form.
